L’Oreal Paris Color of Hope Collection

If you didn't already know, September is ovarian cancer awareness month and L'Oreal is bringing out this collection. I don't think it's coming out over here in the UK yet but $1 of each item purchased is going towards the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

L'Oreal say...

Celebrating femininity and providing all women a way to feel beautiful, the 2011 Color of Hope Collection offers a beautiful palette of products to achieve a complete makeup look for eyes, lips and nails. Drawing inspiration from the romanticism of the 1920’s, L’Oréal Paris fused deep, smoky hues with soft accents reminiscent of the feminine feathers, rouching and lace of this fashion-forward era. The nostalgic collection honors a woman’s natural splendor and her contributions to society since the flapper style was en vogue – yet remains modern with wearable, on-trend shades.

Facts about Ovarian Cancer

Approximately 174,236 women living in the United States currently have ovarian cancer or have a history of ovarian cancer.

20,000 women (approximately are diagnosed with it every year.

Ovarian cancer is the 8th most common cancer among women in the US

They are some scary facts so I think we should do all we can to help support this worthy cause. If this collection comes over here then I will be buying at least one product from it.
